My name is Jen. Music is my life. Singing is my life. I write for my college newspaper, I write for myself. I am a Communications major and everyday I wake up and face the world that is steadily losing it's ability to do just that.
I play piano to express the things I cannot write. I cannot play this instrument well. I have hopes and dreams and some will be met, and some won't. I am a very strong, honest person and have gone through my share of uphill struggles.
I am a music and graphic design minor. I will try to show you things I create. For now all I can promise is a collection of my thought process- through pictures, words, and thoughts.
I know the world’s a broken bone, but melt your headaches, call it home.
So Elyse and I “worked” today. More like we jammed to music and sang into our flashlight microphones!

I am so back to square one.
I have gained a few amazing friendships thanks to PAX. I plan on flying to Seattle in a few months to do it all over again.
But personally, I have failed getting into Grad school. I’ve been wait listed and denied. I also can’t seem to find any employment in Boston whatsoever.
It’s so frustrating. I feel like I’m being tugged in a few different directions.
But at the same time, this is the excitement of living. If I was content then things would be too boring. Being in your early 20s is always a time of self discovery and exploration, right? I am doing things on my own and fighting really hard to make a living. I am doing the things I have always wanted to do. The time is now.
I also blame my Liberal Arts degree. But I’ll save that for another time.
