I am very excited for Pumpkin fest and to see some old friends and familiar places. It will be like going home. It will be crazy and hectic, and I know the friends I am going with will not want to do and see the same things I do, so I should really be more considerate. I might not be able to get to The Stage or Vendetta, just for the sheer fact they may be a mob scene. But everywhere will be. I don’t have huge expectations for p-fest, since I’ve been in the midst of it for the past 4 years. I have to realize I have different reasons for going back than the people I’m going with. They probably want to look at pumpkins and join the festivities. That should be the main reason to go. Sadly for Keene State College kids, it’s just another “holiday” to get drunk and be social, and that’s what I’ve been assimilated into. I don’t mean to push that on them. I should make tomorrow about everyone else, not me. My friends should be able to do everything they want because it’s a totally different experience for them, and I will respect that. As long as I drop off a thank you card at the MAC on campus and see Ellie, Kerri, and some others, I’ll be dandy.
So I guess this is growing up.

Makes me miss the Irish days.
